Your website is
already built.

We design your site before the first conversation — from your reviews, your photos, your listing. You look at it on your own phone and decide whether it beats what you have now. No proposal, no retainer, no four-month timeline to find out.

What we do

Three things, done properly.

We are not a full-service agency and we do not pretend to be. We build the website, we make you findable locally, and we keep the whole thing running.

The website

Designed around your business, not dragged out of a template library. Fast, mobile-first, and built to do one job: turn the person looking at their phone into a customer standing in your shop.

One-time build fee

Local search

Your Google Business Profile set up the way it should have been from the start — hours, photos, services, categories, review prompts. The people already searching for what you sell need to land on you first.

Included in the build

The care plan

Hosting handled, domain renewed on time, security patched, and content changes made when you ask. New menu, new hours, new staff photo — send a text, it gets done.

$97 / month
The wall

Ten storefronts.
Ten different sites.

A bookshop should not look like a barbershop. Every build starts from that business’s own colours, its own type, its own way of talking. Zero templates — and it is the fastest way to show you what that actually means.

The difference

What most local businesses
are actually paying for.

The usual arrangement

  • A template with your logo dropped in the corner
  • Four months of “discovery” before anything is visible
  • The agency holds your domain, so leaving is expensive
  • A monthly report full of impressions and no customers
  • An account manager between you and whoever does the work
  • A quote that grows every time you ask a question

How OutWright works

  • A site designed for your business before you have paid anything
  • Live in days, because your customers are searching this week
  • Your domain in your name — permanently, no exceptions
  • One flat build fee, agreed before a line of code is written
  • You talk to the person building it. That is the whole company
  • Care plan is month to month. Stay because it works
Pricing

Two numbers. Both on the table.

You should not have to sit through a call to find out roughly what this costs.

Step one
The build — one-time

A flat fee quoted on our call, based on how many pages you need and what has to happen on them. The number you hear is the number you are invoiced. Half up front, half before it goes live.

  • Custom design, no templates
  • Mobile-first, tested on real phones
  • Copy written for your business
  • Google Business Profile set up
  • Domain registered in your name
  • SSL and hosting configured
Step two — optional
$97 / month

The care plan. Cancel any month you like — the site and the domain are still yours, because they always were.

  • Hosting managed and monitored
  • Domain renewed automatically
  • Security and software kept current
  • Content updates when you ask
  • Backups, and a fix if something breaks
  • Direct line — text, call or email

No setup fees, no per-change charges, no contract locking you into a year.

Straight answers

The questions we get asked

Do I really get to see the site before I pay?

Yes. We build a real, working version of your site using what is already public about your business — your reviews, your photos, your hours. You look at it on your own phone. If it is not better than what you have, we shake hands and you keep our number.

Who owns the domain and the website?

You do, and it is registered in your name from day one. If you ever want to walk away, the files and the domain go with you and nothing has to be renegotiated. Agencies that hold a client’s domain hostage are the reason small businesses do not trust this industry.

What does the build actually cost?

It depends on how many pages you need and whether you want things like booking or a service menu. You get a firm, flat number on the call — before any work starts — and it does not move afterwards. If the scope changes, we tell you before we build, not after.

How long until it is live?

Most builds go live within a week of the go-ahead. Nothing here takes a quarter. Every week your site is not up is a week somebody searched for what you sell and found a competitor.

Do I have to take the monthly care plan?

No. The build stands on its own and you are free to host and maintain it yourself. Most owners take the care plan because they would rather send a text than learn a hosting dashboard — but it is a choice, not a condition of the build.

What if I already have a website?

Then bring it to the call. Sometimes the honest answer is that yours is fine and you need a Google Business Profile fixed instead, which is a much smaller job. We will say so.

Next step

Thirty minutes, and you
will know where you stand.

We will look at your current setup together, tell you specifically what is costing you customers, and give you a flat number before we hang up.

The work

Built for the business,
not for a design award.

Every build below started the same way: read the reviews, look at the storefront, learn how the owner talks about the place — then design from that. Nothing here shares a layout with anything else here.

What we do

Everything a local business needs online.
Nothing it doesn’t.

There is no media buying department here and no upsell ladder. There is a website that works, a listing that gets found, and somebody who keeps both of them alive.

Website design & build

Custom, mobile-first, and written as a single self-contained page or a small set of them — which is why they load instantly and almost never break. Every layout decision has one test applied to it: does this make somebody call, book, or walk in? You see the design before you commit, and the domain is registered in your name.

Local search & Google Business Profile

Most local businesses lose customers in the map results, not on their website. We set the profile up correctly — categories, hours, service list, photos, and a review flow that actually gets used — and make sure the site backs it up. High-intent local traffic is the cheapest revenue there is.

The website care plan

$97 a month covers hosting, domain renewal, security updates, backups, and the content changes you ask for. New hours for the holidays, a price change, a photo from last weekend — send it over and it is done. No ticket queue and no per-change invoice.

Copy that sounds like you

Included, not an add-on. Most small-business websites fail on the words long before the design — vague headlines, no prices, no reason to act. We write it from how you actually describe your business, then cut it until every sentence earns its place.

Standard on every build

The things other people
charge extra for

  • Domain registered in your name
  • SSL security configured
  • Mobile-first, tested on real devices
  • Google Business Profile set up properly
  • Copywriting for every page
  • Contact forms and click-to-call
  • Search-engine basics done right
  • A firm quote that does not move
  • Direct access to the person building it
  • Full handover of every file

Process

Four steps. Most of your part
is done in the first hour.

You are running a business. The whole engagement is designed so it costs you as little of your own time as possible.

1

We build first

Before we speak, we design a working version of your site from what is already public — your reviews, your listing, your storefront. You see something real, not a mockup.

2

Thirty-minute call

We walk through it together on your phone, you tell us what is wrong with it, and you get a flat quote before we hang up. If it is not a fit, we say so.

3

Build and launch

Half the fee up front. We finish the real build with your photos, your prices and your words, register the domain in your name, and put it live. Usually within a week.

4

Keep it alive

Balance due before launch. From there the care plan keeps hosting, security and updates handled — and you have somebody to text when the hours change.

Why it works this way

Three rules we don’t break

Speed is respect

A four-month project is four months of people searching for what you sell and finding somebody else. We move fast because the delay is not free — you are the one paying for it.

You own everything

Domain in your name, files handed over, nothing held back as leverage. If you leave, you leave with all of it. That is not a perk, it is the minimum.

We tell you the truth

If your current site is fine, we will say so. If somebody else is a better fit for what you need, we will point at them. Trust compounds better than any single invoice.

Step one takes
thirty minutes

And it is free, whether or not we end up working together.

Harrison Wright

Founder

Designs it, builds it, and answers the phone. When you contact OutWright, this is who replies — there is nobody else to be routed to.

About

Built by someone who has actually stood behind a counter.

Before OutWright, I spent years managing one of the top-performing locations in a national retail network of nearly two thousand stores. Hitting a number every week. Coaching a team. Watching, up close, what makes somebody walk in versus walk past.

That is the lens every build here goes through. Not “is this design current?” but “does this make somebody pick up the phone?” Most people selling websites to small businesses have never worked a register, closed a sale, or answered to a revenue target. It shows in what they hand over.

OutWright exists because local businesses kept getting two bad options: a cheap template that looks like everyone else’s, or an agency retainer with a quarterly timeline and an account manager in the way. This is the third option — custom work, one flat price, and the person who built it on the other end of the phone.

We are based in Harrisonburg and most of our work is within driving distance of it. If you are further out, the process is identical — it just happens over a screen share instead of a countertop.

Commitments

Three promises, in writing

The quote is the price

The number given on the call is the number on the invoice. If the scope changes, you hear about it before anything is built — never after.

We answer

Direct access to the person doing the work. No ticket system, no account-manager buffer, no waiting three days to change your opening hours.

Nothing is held hostage

Your domain, your files, your accounts — all in your name. Leaving should cost you nothing but a conversation.

Come say hello

Thirty minutes, no pressure, and you will leave knowing exactly where your business stands online.
